Communicating the clinical advantages of temporary anchorage devices (TADs) is key to helping patients make an informed decision and accepting treatment. In many cases, TADs have been shown to eliminate the need for surgery as well as improve treatment outcomes while reducing compliance issues. Effective consultation techniques will be highlighted including discussions on patient pricing compared with alternative treatment techniques.
